A Tradition of Quality
Thumaita Tea Factory is a premier tea processing factory managed under the KTDA. It is located in Karumandi location, Gichugu subcounty, Kirinyaga County. It sits on the fertile southern slopes of Mt Kenya between River Thiba and River Kamweti.
Thumaita Tea Factory was founded in 1975 on November 17. It has an installed processing capacity of 25million kgs of green leaf per year.
